I know that Giles went to Oxford
That his grandmother and father were both Watchers
That his Father owned at least one first edition
Why is it that I always think of his rough edges as being more real than Spike's?
I just can't see GIles going to the same school as Wes or Travers.
My Giles was never Gunn like poor by any means but even before the teen reblion I could see him knowing how to stay out of trouble and exactly where to find it if he wanted it. The cute stammer seemed part Clark Kent part PTSD.
So am I nuts ?
