My snake tongue plant has bloomed. This has only happened once before, the plant or I guess it's ancestors belonged to my grandmother. The pot is what I really love it dates back to the late 1920s and has an artdeco embossed leaf patern. Anyway the bloom is pretty neat, a spike covered in unimpressive white flowers that just drip with nectar and smells like old spice only better. Considering all the years we've had the thing around I'm taking as a good omen it bloomed.
