On the diet front I’ve lost the 3lbs [of water-weight], I gained while I was sick. So I back where I started at the end of September. Considering I’ve spent most of this month not up to moving around much and eating easy junk I guess it could be worse. October so far for me has consisted of two weeks of UTI, one week PMS, then a migraine and now a cold. I’ve only been to PT twice this whole time so my arms, legs and back all hate me.
On to the much less whiney stuff, I’ve had the time and energy to rewrite the Spuffy fic and send it off to be beta’d. It still has more exposition than any story should have, and the world’s most overused premise. But it is a bit better.
I took TaraDog for a walk today and stepped on a large black mushroom that looked like burnt paper on the outside and red Virginia clay where it ruptured. I didn’t see it until too late and was big enough to send a cloud of spores into my face. If it were “House” I’d contract pneumonia or start seeing things. And I refuse to contemplate what kind of X-flies or Buffy episode could start that way!
I’m Having fun with the Anya recs. If you know of a good Anya fic that should be rec’d let me know guys! There are some I want to rec I haven’t gotten around to yet. The hard part is fitting the fic with the prompt. Now I know there’s got to be a good Giles/Anya/Spike out there for the threesome prompt, help me find it. If I’m going to do this I’m going to try for all 50.
