So everything is icy mush outside and I'm being verrry careful not to fall bring out the laundry. I get back inside safely but then the arm of my office chair breaks. I fall on the carpet more or less ok but when I try to get up I fall again and bang my side and underarm hard on the corner of my craft cabinet. Ow!
To cheer myself I bought a sf/romance anthology. It looked cheesey but it was cheap and I thought it would be a mood lifter. The first story read like bad Trek fic with the names changed .The sex made me laugh so hard it hurt I'd give the author the benefit of a doubt if there was any hint it was supposed to be a parody or even a comedy at all. Do they have a a non [fan] fic rant comm out there?
