I have one of those square baskets that fits in the bottom of my nightstand. This is my TBR pile and I'm happiest when it's full. Unless a few are so bad I toss them before they done I'll be finnished with this pile in about a month.
A Company of Swans By Eva IIbotson [ I read about this book at AAR. It sounded like a nice comfy read like Anne of Green Gables or Little Women so I decide to give the author a try.]
A Countess Below StairsBy Eva IIbotson [ Saw this when picking up the above and couldn't resist it for a very silly reason. A hero named Rupert!]
Sea Glass by Anita Shreve [ ages ago it got put on the shelf mistake.]
The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood [I want to read it again when I have a working brain.]
Heart of the TARDIS by Dave Stone [My Trek tie-ins were lonely]
Cursor's Fury by Jim Butcher [actually this is the top of the pile. I'm almost done with it. Love his stuff.]
Strange Bedpersons by Jennifer Crusie [got for free from my father's MIL alone with 30 other romances I'll just trade in because I don't care for the type.]
I just got done reading one of the one of the Mercy Thompson novels by Patrica Briggs. I need to pick up the the others. Urban Fantasy is a type of book I should love in theory by rarely actually like. Desden Files is one exception and Mercy may be another. I thought that the shapely tattoed shapeshifter would be a bit too Anita Blake for me. I should've known better than to judge by the cover. Why didn't you guys tell me about her? I'm sure I'm the last to the party.
Even with all this I'd like recs in the realm of geeky. Any good Who Tie-ins? Anybody got any recs for graphic novels? What about e-books?
I can't get to the bookstore on my own so e-books are the only way to get what I want if I have a craving for certain kind of book right now. But I do have trouble finding stuff that's not just PWP.
