And now a meta extra from pain management theater. In my usual ass-backwards fashion I had a clear event to kick off my hero's story. With two very clear characters in mind; Joe, the alien who saves Kevin and woman Kevin falls in love with. I went into it with no clue who Kevin was at all. but I just learned something about him. I assumed he'd be around thirty [the default decade for romance heros.] But the more I write him the the more I'm sure he's youger than that, say early twenties. I didn't intend to write him that way but I'm not going ti fight it. This is me plowing forward to see what happens.
