I had a nice Christmas. It didn't look so great to start out though, it was pouring down rain and my dad's car wouldn't start so he had to call my BIL for a jump. I gave the kids all cash this year, because shopping was beyond me but, I didn't hear any complaints. We ate lots and visited.
My gifts had a chocolate theme this yearSIL gave me gourmet hot cocoa kit and brown jammies and Sis gave me homade fudge :)
I channeled Anya once. One of the girls said how when they go out drinking and dancing with the guys by the time they gt enough of a buzz to relax and have fun the men are done and ready to go home. Now because I have zero interest in dancing or drinking I had to deliberatly take this the wrong way. I mean it was opening a mile wide! I said, that's the story of a woman's life, just when you're warming up the guy's done!
I didn't say this out loud,but my Anya added in my head, that this is still the cause of much vengence despite the invention of a little blue pill. Must use this in in fic.
