Pairings: Giles/Anya & Buffy/Spike
Summary: AU [or is it?] season 8. When the final battle on the Hellmouth makes the existence of the supernatural public Andrew writes the movie. Giles decides to hit him in the bank account first when takes some dramatic license. 150 words.
Buffy said, “I’m going to kill Andrew! I can’t believe that weasel changed the ending without telling us!”
“We’ll sue him. Then we’ll kill him. Slowly,” Giles said. He was quieter about it than Buffy, but even angrier. “I don’t understand how you and Spike can be so calm about it, Anya? You were both vital to success of that battle, and he repays that by killing you both off!”
Anya shrugged. “It’s going to be a cult classic. Dead characters get more, sexy fanfiction. I checked.”
“And you can’t deign I went out in a proper blaze of glory,” Spike said.
Willow said, “That’s a very generous attitude, especially since he wants to pair Buffy with Angel, and Giles with Faith, for the sequel. It sounds like it will be more of an action romance.”
Spike growled, “We kill him.”
“Slowly and painfully,” Anya agreed. “But first we sue.”
