Taradog has a new game. Opened the house up yesterday because it was the first nice day after three days of heavy rain and t storms. The house had aquired a wet doggie and mildew smell. So while I cleaned I opened everything I possibly could, screen or not, figuring the bugs find their way in anyway. So Ella goes out the front door, around the house a few times, up the ramp and in kitchen over and over, with a stop or two to happy dance on the sofa. It was all very joyful in a way only a dog can be. I'm just glad the mud was dried up.
Had a couple in the shop that made me sigh in a good way. They were a little older than me the wife was about 5 ft tall and the hubby well over 6 ft. The hubby smiles at wife and says "I love you." and the wife walks to him pick up his hand and kisses his palm. Well, its my job to watch shoppers. Besides I write right? It's not eavesdropping it's grist for the mill.
I just got done listening to Reamde by Neil Stephenson on audiobook. I enjoyed it. I was sort of surprised by all the exploration of what it means to be a family tucked into all the explostions, kidnapping and game playing. It was one four books I got for 4.99 each. When Audible does that I tend to get fiction outside my comfort zone or non fiction.
