Today was the first day of the RR festival. I stayed home to watch the shop. I'm fighting a bad cold so a normally tiring day is feeling even worse.
I don't know if I was chaneling Giles or Anya but I was tempted to say something not so nice to a costumer earlier. he was looking at a very old book he had no intention of buying in search of a mention of some ancestor and really pawing the thing. I told him nicely to be more gentle and he just looked at me like "It's only a used book" If that were the case he would be able to afford it wouldn't he?
I did manage to write some fic and send it off to be beta'd between yahoos. I'm reworking season 7 even though I think no one will read it. The death of Faith in my story "deep sleeper" is going to be the middle. I'm aiming for a dark story but with a lot less hopeless hand wringing.
